I-Hua Wu Named First Asian Global Brand Ambassador for Maybelline

Taiwanese model I-Hua Wu has been named a new face of Maybelline. She is the brand's first Asian global ambassador.
Maybelline says on the Instagram announcement, "Please welcome our newest global spokesmodel, I-Hua Wu! We are so excited to have this born with it beauty, @_ihua_ join the Maybelline family."The Cut interviewed Wu. She says she wasn't disovered by anyone. Her mom signed her up for her agency to help her meet people like her. She says she bullied in school for being too tall and different. She says, "In junior high, I cried every single day."
She told The Hollywood Reporter, "I love [Maybelline’s] platform of empowering women. I am also excited to use this platform to show the beauty of Taiwanese models. This opportunity will also allow me to shed light and raise awareness of the problems surrounding stray animals."
