Singer Halsey Covers Nylon in J.W. Anderson Dress

Singer-songwriter Halsey covers the June-July 2016 issue of Nylon magazine. She's wearing a J.W. Anderson dress on the cover while licking a lollipop. Halsey also models fashion by Christopher Kane, Giuletta,3.1 Phillip Lim, Chanel, Simone Rocha, Emporio Armani and other designers in the cover shoot.
The issue is Nylon's Music issue. The cover says "All Hail Queen Halsey." Halsey already has several hits. Her most popular music video is for "Colors." The video for her single "Castle" features footage from the film, The Huntsman: Winter's War.
In the Nylon interview, Halsey reveals that Winona Ryder is her style icon. She is amazed by her new house in L.A. that has a pool and a great view. She says, "I keep just waking up and being like, 'Is this my house? Is this really my house? Are you sure?'"
She talked about being on tour with The Weeknd and Imagine Dragons. She says, "Walk onstage in front of 20,000 people in an arena opening up for f---ing Imagine Dragons, you think to yourself, There's a possibility that I can't do this. That I go out there and I f---ing choke. But 'no' is not an option. Rolling with the punches has become my mantra."
She also talks about a very tough year she had at age 17. The number 1 and 7 are tattoed on her fingers. She says, "I went from being a little kid to, like, a very weathered adult in a year. I got kicked out of my house, I traveled the whole country by myself, I found out I had bipolar disorder, I dealt with a sexual assault.. That year was like Murphy's Law, man."
