Giada De Laurentiis has opened her first restaurant at The Cromwell in Las Vegas. The Italian restaurant is named Giada. It accommodates nearly 300 guests and features three dining areas: a dining room, a lounge and a terrace.
Giada says in a statement, "When guests come to GIADA, I want them to feel like they are coming to my house for dinner. All the details of the restaurant are near and dear to my heart. My family was a big inspiration and you can see their influence in the art, decor and dishes. Between the breathtaking view and the delicious food, I hope my guests will feel that GIADA captures the kind of atmosphere that brings that Vegas energy to life."
The restaurant includes separate bread and pizza ovens, an antipasti bar and a pasta stand where chefs roll homemade pasta. Signature dishes include Lemon Spaghetti, Roasted Chicken for Two Caccitore-style, Chicken Marsala Meatballs and a bone-in Tuscan Ribeye. The restaurant's dessert cart features fresh Lemon Ricotta Cookies and homemade gelatos. Giada paid tribute to her late father by naming several cocktails after the films her father produced. One of the cocktails is named after Barbarella, which starred actress Jane Fonda.
