Gap Launches Jeans Recycling Program

Posted on October 6, 2010

The Gap is encouraging consumers to recycle their old jeans. Now through October 20, Gap and Cotton Incorporated are teaming up to collect old denim, which will be converted into UltraTouch Denim Insulation by Bonded Logic Inc., and donated to communities in need. Shoppers can bring their old jeans to a local Gap store where they will receive 30 percent off new 1969 jeans purchases.

Gap is sweeting the deal for its Facebook fans. Gap's Facebook fans can get 40 percent off their new 1969 jeans purchase by liking Gap's page - see here.
