Fergie's Workout Secrets Include Basic Ab Workouts for Dummies

You can't miss her incredibly toned abs. Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas talked about her diet and exercise program - and how she gets her amazing abs - in the July, 2005 issue of Allure magazine.
Fergie's big secret? She learned her best ab exercises from the Basic Ab Workouts for Dummies tape and has done them religiously for the past two years. The for Dummies DVD from 2002 features instruction from Gay Gasper, who was the world's first National Step Champion.
Fergie also revealed some of her favorite products, which include Red Bull and Clarins self-tanner. Fergie says, "If I feel worn out, I might have a sugar-free Red Bull. Those always bet me going. Not the regular ones, though-- there are 110 calories in those little things!"
Diet is also important for toned abs. Some of the items on Fergie's menu include turkey burgers and Boca burgers. She tells Allure, "I eat low-fat and low-carb, but I can't cut carbs out completely. I like them too much. For me, it's all in moderation. I eat turkey burgers, chicken and fish. And Boca Burgers are great, hight and protein and low in carbs and fat."
Boca Burgers is a brand of veggie burgers. We agree with Fergie on turkey burgers - they can be really delicious. We like to use extra lean ground turkey meat from Jennie-O.
