Emma Stone won Best Actress for her role in La La Land at the 2017 Oscars. She looked amazing in a custom Givenchy Haute Couture gown by Riccardo Tisci. Emma accessorized with Tiffany jewelry and a gold pin supporting Planned Parenthood.
The stunning gown was made with hand embroidered lace and fishnet embroidery in gold crystals and tubes, 3D cream, gold and bronze Swarovski crystals. The fringes were made using cream to bronze dégradé crystals. Givenchy says it took 11 people and 1750 hours to make Emma's custom Oscar gown.
Emma Stone thanked the other nominated actresses during her speech. She told her family and friends: "I'm going to hug the hell out of you when the feeling re-enters my body." Other people thanked by Emma included Doug Wald, Damien Chazelle and Greta and Bob Cooper. She thanked co-star Ryan Gosling for "making me laugh and for always raising the bar and for being the greatest partner on this crazy adventure."
Emma was almost given an Oscar for Best Picture during a bizarre Oscars mix-up last night.
