eBay Shares 50 Hottest Toys of 2018 List

eBay has shared a list of its predictions for the top 50 toys of 2018. They have revealed eight hot toy trends.
Michael Mosser, eBay's General Manager of Lifestyle, Media and Toys, says in the announcement, "We've studied our recent data and industry trends to determine the top toys for this holiday season to help shoppers find the perfect gift for every child’s wish list. The top 50 most in-demand toys span trends and categories from surprise dolls, action figures, building toys and furry friends, with some standout newcomers stealing the show as instant hits for the season."
eBay also unveiled Toytopia, a resource where shoppers can find the latest toys. Toytopia also features deals with free shipping on some of the hot holiday toys.
One of the eight trends spotted by eBay is called Surprise Matters. It includes toys like the L.O.L. Surprise line. eBay says it sold over 148,000 L.O.L. Surprise toys in the past six months.
Other categories include Furry Friends, Disgustingly Awesome (think slime and smelly toys), Comeback Kids (think nostalgic toys like My Little Pony), Tech It Out, Action Packed, Never Board and Unplugged Fun. The list of 50 toys is provided below in alphabetical order.
