Reese Witherspoon Launches Draper James Lifestyle Brand

Reese Witherspoon has launched a lifestyle brand called Draper James. The brand is focused on fashion, accessories and home decor inspired by the American South. Reese named the brand ofter her grandparents, Dorothea Draper and William James Witherspoon.
Reese grew up in Nashville where she says she learned that being overdressed is far better than being undressed. She says in the announcement, "I created Draper James to honor my past and allow others to embrace the beauty, style and excitement that embodies what is happening in the South today."
Reese has been sharing photographs of herself wearing clothing and accessories found at Draper James on the store's Instagram account, @draperjamesgirl. Here is she is relaxing in a Kiawah cover-up, which is sold at the store for $200.
Reese also says, "Whether it's Nashville or New Orleans, Beaufort or Birmingham, there is a special breed of charm and grace that's signature to the American South. With Draper James, our goal is to bring contemporary, yet timeless Southern style to your wardrobe and your home, no matter where you live. We hope you will stop in to see us often-our door is always open."
Draper James has a great website at draperjames.com. Tabs on the site include home and gifting, accessories, jewelry and clothing. You can also click one button to view all the new arrivals. There is also a Love, Reese section which includes features about luncheons and travel.
Draper James is also planning a at least one bricks-and-mortar location. The first Draper James retail store will open in Reese's hometown of Nashville this fall.
