Cold Stone Creamery Celebrates Shark Week With Ice Cream Treats and Cupcakes

Cold Stone Creamery is celebrating Shark Week with two different treats. The Shark Week Frenzy Creation ice cream treat and Great Blue Cupcakes will be available now through July 14. The menu items are part of a partnership with Discovery Channel.
The Shark Week Frenzy Creation is made with Blue Sweet Cream Ice Cream mixed with graham cracker pie crust and gummy sharks. The colorful ice cream creation is pictured above.The Great Blue Cupcakes (pictured below) are a chocolate cup filled with a layer of yellow cake and Blue Sweet Ice Cream. The cupcake is topped with blue frosting and a gummy shark.
Kate Unger, senior vice president of marketing at Cold Stone Creamery, says in a statement, "Every year we hear from more and more die-hard Shark Week fans that love having the Cold Stone cupcakes on hand at their Shark Week viewing parties. They also are just a great fit for summer parties in general. Shark Week is the BEST week!"
Shark Week will debut on Discovery Channel on Sunday, July 5. Some of the compelling shows in this year's Shark Week include Ninja Sharks, Island of the Mega Shark and Bride of Jaws, which tells the story of a 18-feet long female great white shark off Western Australia.
