Vehicle From Stephen King's Christine Auctioned on Ebay

The Volvo Auto Museum is auctioning off several famous cars on eBay. The spotlight of the auction is Christine, the most famous Plymouth of all time. Christine is the 1958 Fury that starred in John Carpenter's 1983 movie adaptation of Stephen King's horror classic. The auctio nuntil October 11th.
The vehicle is car # 14 and it comes with a documented history verifying its authenticity. The car was fitted with a roll cage and low mounted solo seat so the driver would be hidden from view and the filmmakers could make it appear that the car was driving itself. This car has been on display in the Volvo Auto Museum for the past 5 years.
The Volvo Auto Museum says, "It is the most talked about car, more so than even the Batmobile. It is one of, if not these most significant movie cars of all times. While lots of cars are used in movies, this car was the movie! The main character with the movie being named after her. Also unlike many high profile movie cars, this one does not carry any contract limiting its commercial use."
Other vehicles up for auction include a van used in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre, the Flinstones Sea Doo, the GTO Mirthmobile from Wayne's World and the sleigh prop from The Grinch.
