Carvel Revokes Lindsay Lohan's Free Ice Cream Card

The downward spiral continues. Lindsay Lohan has taken another devastating blow: her free ice cream for life card was just revoked by Carvel ice cream after a nasty incident in which Lindsay's mother Dina attempted to use the card to score free ice cream when Lindsay wasn't physically present. According to Carvel, the Lohans have been abusing their free ice cream privileges. The police even got involved. The company released a statement explaining the decision.
Carvel says it issued 75 Black Card to celebrities as part of its 75th Anniversary celebration last year. Carvel says the Lohan family has been abusing the card. Carvel says in a statement, "While the card was issued in Lindsay and Ali's names only, their extended family has repeatedly used the card without either present. At first, we graciously honored their requests while explaining that the Black Card was not a carte blanche for unlimited Carvel Ice Cream for the extended Lohan family and friends. After more than six months of numerous and large orders for ice cream, we finally had to cut off the card and take it back."
Carvel says Dina Lohan called the police to have her card returned. Carvel says, "The police responded and did return the card to Dina with instructions not to use it again."
Issuing a black card to celebrities who don't eat is a great way to get some publicity without actually having to give up any ice cream. What, too cynical?
