Bride Walks Down the Aisle With Baby Attached to Her Wedding Dress

A bride walked down the aisle with her 1-month-old baby attached to the train of her wedding dress. Shona Carter-Brooks, the bride and mother, was married at the Elam Baptist Church in Ripley, Tenn.
A photo from the wedding shows the shocked reaction from guests at the wedding as they see a baby attached the dress. The wedding photos have generated outrage on the Internet. The dress was altered to cradle the baby as Shona walked down the aisle. Shona claims the the dress is by Vera Wang on her Facebook page, but Vera Wang has stated that this is not a dress from her collection.
Shona defended attaching her baby to her dress. She writes in a Facebook post, "Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train. Most important while yall got ya feelings in us we had our hearts in Christ which covers all!!"
Here is a report on the unusual dress from CNN's Jeanne Moos. Jeanne says the baby was reportedly very calm during the wedding ceremony. The mother refused to speak with CNN.
