Bloomingdales Inks Deal With Space NK

Space NK, the British beauty line, has signed an exclusive deal with Bloomingdale's to feature a large, in-house beauty boutique in nine store locations, beginning in November. Space NK was founded by Nicky Kinnaird of Belfast and quickly became known for its innovative approach and great service.
"This is a powerful partnership of two brands that believe in the importance of accessible luxury," said Michael Gould, Chairman and CEO of Bloomingdale's. "Together, we can offer the Bloomingdale's customer a unique shopping experience and access to top beauty brands from all over the world."
"Space NK is based on a vision of my personal dream store," says Nicky Kinnaird, Founder and Creative Director. "I wanted to create an experience that would impress me as a customer, delight, educate, and surprise me. Our partnership with Bloomingdale's will give us increased accessibility and allow us to introduce the Space NK concept to a wider audience."
Locations that will get an NK space include the Flagship 59th Street store as well as Soho and White Plains, NY; Chestnut Hill, MA; Sherman Oaks, Newport Beach, South Coast Plaza, Century City, and San Francisco, CA. The boutiques will look like the existing Space NK locations, and will feature skincare experts and makeup artists. We'll definitely stop by to check one out when it opens.
