Blood Red Hot Chocolate for Halloween
Posted on October 20, 2011
It is usually cold enough in most parts of the U.S. for hot chocolate on Halloween. A fun idea is to turn that hot chocolate a blood red.
Martha Stewart has a recipe for Blood Red Hot Chocolate. The recipe includes 2 teaspoons of red gel-paste food coloring to turn the hot chocolate red.
You can also bought blood red hot chocolate. McSteven's makes a red hot chocolate that comes in a coffin shaped tin. It's called Vampire Brew Blood Red Hot Chocolate. McSteven's also has a red McSteven's Zombies hot chocolate in case the Vampire Brew is unavailable.
Here's a closer look at the McSteven's Vampire Brew Blood Red Hot Chocolate from The Review Spot. We like that they chose a skull glass to serve it in.
