Bella Hadid Covers November 2015 Issue of Seventeen Magazine

Posted on October 17, 2015

Bella Hadid covers the November 2015 issue of Seventeen magazine. Bella wears a striped shirt and black jacket on the cover. The casual look is a contrast to the high fashion outfits she has been wearing on the runways recently for the Spring/Summer 2016 fashion shows.

Bella talked with Seventeen about working in an industry where her older sister, Gigi, has already found success. It doesn't appear to be a problem for either of them since they are both successful models. They appeared together in a photograph in Balmain's Spring 2015 campaign. Bella says that she and her sister are not competitive.

Bella says, "I just have to remind myself that she's been doing this forever. I can't keep comparing myself to her because we're so different. But people still love to compare and contrast us — what's better about her or what's not that good about me — and it's hard because people are really mean. But I'm her biggest supporter, and she's my biggest supporter. We're not competitive at all."

Bella also talked about staying fit for her career. Her workouts include pilates and the treadmill. She says, "I eat a lot of pizza and really unhealthy food. I definitely gain weight and I'm not naturally thin. I'm really self-conscious if I go to trainers, so I just do stuff on my own. I go on the treadmill or do yoga and Pilates if I can."

Bella also talked about comparisons between her and actress Jennifer Lawrence. She says this happens quite a bit. She says, "I never saw it. But there are some photos that it's really weird and we look very similar. People say it all the time. I'll walk onto set and five people will say, 'You know who you look like?' and I'm like, 'Jennifer Lawrence?' Then they'll say, 'How'd you know I was going to say that?' and I'll go, 'Because I hear it five times a day.'"

It was also recently revealed by her mother, Yolanda Foster, that Bella and her brother have been battling Lyme disease. Her mother said at an emotional speech at the Global Lyme Alliance Gala in New York City, "I will walk to the end of the earth to find a cure so that you can live a healthy life that you deserve. No child should suffer in the way that you do."

Bella also gave some fashion tips as part of the Seventeen cover. Take a look:
