Now Karl Lagerfeld has a Barbie doll dressed in his own image. Yes, Barbie is looking to Karl to spruce up her image.

Karl has teamed up with Mattel, Inc. to create a limited edition run of only 999 collectible Barbie dolls dressed and styled as Karl. Known as Barbie Lagerfeld, the doll is dressed in items from the Karl Lagerfeld line. She is wearing a tailored black jacket, a crisp, white high-collared men's shirt, complete with French cuffs, and black skinny jeans with the classic head silhouette print. She is all about the perfect accessories. She is wearing a black sill cravat, black fingerless gloves, a black leather purse, cute little ankle booties, and sunglasses.

Barbie has some pretty intense eyebrows and her hair has been bleached snow white and put into a ponytail. She has a silver belt buckle and a silver chain with a a silver pendant. Her expression looks pretty fierce, but it's hard to tell under those dark sunglasses. The only thing missing is a little Choupette doll, designed to look just like Karl's beloved cat.

Barbie Lagerfeld is from the Platinum label collection of dolls and retails for $200. Needless to say, the doll is expected to sell out immediately. They will be available for purchase on September 29, 2014, at net-a-porter.com, Karl Lagerfeld retail stores, and BarbieCollector.com.
