Amazon has launched a car research destination called Amazon Vehicles. The new site lets Amazon users access car images, videos, vehicle specifications, car customers reviews and other information.

The site lets users search for vehicles by year, make, body style, model, transmission, seating capacity, crash rating, towing capacity and many other options. It also offers featured car manufacturers and popular body styles. Several cars are featured on the front of the site at launch including the 2017 Kia Sportage, 2016 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Cedan, 2016 BMW 5 Series and 2016 Jeep Wrangler.

Adam Goetsch, Director of Automotive at Amazon.com, says in the announcement, "Our goal is to support customers during one of the most important, research-intensive purchases in their lives by helping them make informed decisions every step of the way. Amazon Vehicles is a great resource for customers who are interested in car information or looking for a broad selection of parts and accessories – all enhanced by the ability to tap into the knowledge, opinions, and experiences of other car owners within the Amazon customer community."

The new site also contains the Amazon Automotive store, which offers car parts, car accessories and more.
